Custom Home – Historical Whole Home Remodel
This custom whole home historical remodel in Boulder is lovingly now referred to by the homeowners as thier “100 year old new home.” The original 1900 home had a crumbling brick foundation and a layout and design aesthetic that did not meet the needs of our client and required a complete overhaul, which included excavating a new basement, and essentially rebuilding all but one wall. A new foundation has been poured and a complete redesign of the upper levels will allow this home to stand the test of time for another century.
Not Afraid of Color
With adventurous spirits, the clients didn’t shy away from bold color and tile choices throughout the home. Each room has fun pops of color just waiting to be discovered.

This project also includes an open floor plan, added bathrooms, space addition to the dining and upper bedroom areas, and a newly finished basement.
Planning for Thriving in Place
This home was designed with the intention that the clients could move their primary suite down to the first floor as they aged and certain design layouts and amenities were pre-planned for their future needs.
